New Adventurers Wanted!
If you’re curious about Dungeons and Dragons but don’t know where to start, join us Wednesdays in February from 6:00pm to 8:45pm at the Geek Room. Where we are hosting weekly sessions catered specifically to new players. We will teach you everything you need to know to play and run through a series of short adventures to help you get a feel for the game.
Stop in for any or all of our introductory adventures. Each week we’ll start with a basic overview of the game, how the classes work and what to expect, then we’ll put what you’ve just learned into action! Each week you’ll go on an adventure to give you an idea of what the game can offer.
February 5th: Basics of D&D
The city is plagued with rats, even more so than usual, as new members of the Adventurers League the Queen has tasked your group with delving deep into the sewers to slay as many of the fowl beasts as possible. Can you collect enough pelts before becoming rat food? Can you stop the infestation altogether?
February 12th: Basics of Combat
Need some fresh air? This small town on the cost is quite appealing, home to the region’s largest apple orchards not much goes on there outside of the annual cider festival. However, intrigue came early this year when a courier in possession of a priceless artifact has disappeared in the area; will you be able to find the artifact and claim its bounty for yourself, or will you be left with a sour aftertaste?
February 19th: Basic Dungeon
Dungeons and Dragons is not all about diving into dungeons and slaying monsters, so for Week Three you are cordially invited to… a ******! The Archmage Elminster is hosting a ****** mystery dinner party and you are invited! After dinner you will find your host “Dead” and it will be your job to find who amongst the guests is the ********.
February 26th: Roleplaying and Social Interaction
One of the best things about Tabletop Roleplaying games is that you can be/play anything you can imagine, so to celebrate this we’ll show you how to use Dungeons and Dragons to play other games.
Do you want to be the Very Best? The annual Monster Hunter festival is upon us! Team up with fellow adventurers to subdue and capture wild monsters to win gold, fame, and glory! Not is all what is seems however and you should prepare for trouble…
